“What does a fortification protect us from?” With embroidery on white fabrics, like peace flags, the artist Clara Gassiot inquires us about issues related to concepts that we have assimilated with security and protection, and that perhaps only hide tensions, hate, power struggles…, which go against what they say they want to achieve: protection, conflict transformation and, ultimately, peace.
