The Alliance of Indigenous Women in the City (AMIC) is a space for the participation of women from the indigenous peoples who currently live in Bogotá. As of 2018, AMIC seeks to generate greater alliances in the national and international framework, in addition to strengthening and consolidating the process of empowerment and autonomy of indigenous women through the audiovisual production initiative with the slogan of “Audiovisual Sovereignty in the empowerment of the voice and the image ”, in an autonomous process in which they not only raise their voices but also become an axis of communication and visibility of collective actions, struggles and dreams.
